Leila joined Sequent in August 2019 from Accuro Trust (Switzerland) SA, where she was a Client Services Director.

In addition to her team management responsibilities at Sequent, Leila has a wider functional role, which involves ensuring consistent client service levels, development of best practice principles, and related on-the-job training initiatives in the Switzerland
 offices. Her fields of specialisation include the management of complex estate planning structures for internationally mobile families.

Leila is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She holds a Bachelor of Arts (modern Japanese literature), which she completed at the University of Shizuoka, Japan, as a recipient of a prestigious Japanese government scholarship (for
 foreign students), and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, Australia. Leila holds dual nationality (Australia and Switzerland), has an international background, and speaks French and Japanese, in addition to English.
