Matthew joined Sequent in January 2019 and holds the position of Client Services Director, leading one of the Client Services teams in the Guernsey office. Matthew and his team are responsible for the management of a number of trust and corporate structures for their international clients, housing a diverse range of assets across multiple jurisdictions.

During his 19 years working in the Guernsey financial services industry, Matthew has gained extensive experience working with UHNWIs and their family offices, administering various bespoke structures including the use of various types of trusts, foundations, PTCs, and companies, and dealing with a wide range of assets including investment portfolios, private equity, real estate (both residential and commercial), operating businesses, luxury assets, art/chattels, and digital assets.

In addition, Matthew has  been involved in a number of projects relating to corporate governance and operations for regulated FSBs.
 
Matthew is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments.
